Using Machine Learning Technology to Enhance Digital Social Understanding of the COVID-19 Infodemic (WHO EARS platform)

I led and coauthored a paper describing the design and validation of the WHO Early AI-supported response with social listening platform.  I led the design and implementation of this platform between 2021 and 2023.

Understanding circulating narratives in different communities and spaces is important. The WHO EARS platform can help identify circulating narratives in public digital spaces, for analysts infodemic managers.
