I spent two days in Heidelberg teaching on information environment and public health at the short course on infectious diseases and emergency preparedness for their MPH program. Elisabeth Wilhelm and I prepared an introductory lecture, but most of the module was spent in class games and team problem-solving.
Elisabeth and I also worked with Fekri Dureab and Ahmed Al-Aghbari to design a scenario-based game for students, teaching analytical tools infodemic managers can use in insights generation. We spiced it up a little with team mascots being superhero public health characters. You can access full set of teaching materials in this post.
