I designed and moderated a WHO webinar in the series on trust and pandemic preparedness together with Sarah Hess.
We explored what trust means in relation to the #information #ecosystem. We heard from four wonderful speakers, Alejandro Posada, Neil F Johnson, Mariana Diaz Garcia and Alla Keselman , who brought perspectives of mapping the information ecosystem, trust-building within it, organizational response to disinformation, and the relationship of people and community organizations to information.
A good hour spent reflecting on questions:
- What does a healthy information ecosystem look like to you?
- What kind of information do audiences/communities that you work with consider trustworthy? How do they determine what is trustworthy information to them?
- What can we do to promote a healthier information ecosystem where accurate, credible health information is seen as or more trustworthy than the competition?
