I co-directed and taught in the Third WHO infodemic manager training, including 350+ public health professionals globally, in English and French.
The training was designed to fulfill the needs of future infodemic managers, but also of the managers of infodemic managers. It emphasised the competencies described in the newly published competency framework for workforce response to infodemic management.
The training delivery used human-centered design and flipped classroom approaches and was highly interactive, combining lectures with group work and 3-week immersive simulation exercise.
It covered:
- the emerging topics in infodemic management
- strategy development
- and policy implications in infodemic management.
Read about the curriculum in Third WHO infodemic manager training booklet. TheĀ recordings of the lectures are also available.
